Tai Chi is considered one of the treasures of chinese culture.
The focus of this class will be to learn the basic movements of the Yang Style Tai Chi Ch’uan Form. Tai Chi Ch’uan has been described as Meditation in Motion. It was practiced secretly in China for over 1000 years but it was not until the 1920s that it was introduced to the general public. Originally it was practiced as a Martial Art, today millions of people practice the slow, graceful movements of Tai Chi Ch’uan for its health promoting benefits. Tai Chi Ch’uan is known to increase fl exibility, strength, mindfulness and overall health. All classes will include some Qi Gong movements to stimulate health, vitality and longevity. Join us; learn these beautiful movements to reinvigorate your life.
