Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Master Gee's Black Belt Academy respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it.

1. What we collect

When you fill out our intro-class contact form or our events form, we collect the information you provide: your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. We do not ask for sensitive information through this website.

2. Why we collect it

We use this information only to:

  • respond to your inquiry,
  • contact you about a free/intro class or an event you asked about, and
  • follow up with relevant information about our programs.

3. How it is stored and shared

Form submissions are delivered to our own inbox and to the tools we use to run the website. We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us operate the site and communicate with you (for example, our website/hosting and email tools), and only as needed for those purposes.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed to respond to you and manage our relationship, unless a longer period is required.

5. Your choices and rights

Under BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's PIPEDA, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Contact us using the details below.

6. Cookies

Cookie Notice

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Here is how this site uses them.

Strictly necessary cookies

This website sets a small number of essential cookies (for example, a session cookie) that are needed for the site to load and work properly. These do not track you for advertising — they only make the site function.

Embedded video (YouTube)

Our website includes embedded YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode. When you play a video, YouTube (owned by Google) may set its own cookies on your device, including cookies used for analytics and advertising. These cookies are controlled by Google, not by us. Privacy-enhanced mode limits what YouTube stores until you actually choose to play a video.

We do not use our own analytics or advertising cookies

Aside from the essential cookies above and the third-party cookies set by embedded YouTube videos, this site does not run its own tracking or advertising cookies.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your web browser's settings, and you can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works.
